All About the 2020 Chevy Blazer

Trim Options

Six trim options allow drivers to find the 2020 Blazer that best fits their style. The base trim is the L, which comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels and Chevy’s newest infotainment system on an 8-inch touch screen. Step up to the 1LT trim for available upgrades like heated seating and advanced safety features. The 2LT trim comes with a new engine and available all-wheel drive. Choose the 3LT for luxury features like heated leather seats and standard intelligent safety systems. The RS model is the ideal performance option with a more powerful standard engine, 20-inch wheels, and impressive towing capacity. For all the bells and whistles, choose the Premier trim. This option includes chrome exterior accents, ambient lighting, and leather seating in Jet Black or Maple Sugar.

Engine Performance

Tow up to 4,500 pounds with the available 3.6-liter V-6 engine. This engine comes with the RS and Premier trim levels and offers up to 308 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The 2020 Blazer brings a new engine option to the table. Both the 2LT and 3LT trims come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Paired with Chevy’s advanced all-wheel-drive system, these engines provide precise power to individual wheels for optimal traction and handling. The base engine features a 2.5-liter EcoTec four-cylinder engine for 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. This option comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Updated Technology

The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System comes with every 2020 Blazer model and features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice command technology, and Bluetooth connectivity. Upper trims come with the Infotainment 3 Plus and Premium systems that add integrated navigation and in-vehicle apps. A Bose premium sound system with eight speakers and a subwoofer is also available for amplified sound quality. The keyless entry system comes standard and allows drivers to open the locked door without even touching the key fob. If the key fob is on you, simply approach the car and open the door. Start the car by pressing the ignition button while your foot is on the brake pedal. Other available technology features include a wireless charging pad, a high-definition surround-view camera, and a safety alert seat.

Impressive Safety

Depending on the trim you choose, you’ll have a wealth of advanced safety systems at your side. Driver assistance technologies like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and rear cross-traffic alerts help provide peace of mind while behind the wheel. A forward-collision alert system with enhanced automatic emergency braking detects potential collisions and can even slow or stop the vehicle to avoid accidents.
