Chevrolet’s Silverado lineup offers the most powerful pickups in the industry. The 1500 is the smallest Silverado, but it packs an intense performance that makes it a perfect work truck. We’re breaking down all eight trim levels of the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 in this guide!
WT
The standard engine on the Silverado’s WT base trim is a TurboMax engine that delivers 310 HP at 5600 rpm and 430 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm. This engine can be found on all 1500 trims except the LTZ and High Country. The TurboMax engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that includes Tow/Haul mode, powertrain-grade braking, and cruise-grade braking.
Custom
The Custom Silverado 1500 trim has 20-inch bright silver painted aluminum wheels with all-season blackwall tires that can tackle almost any terrain. The bumpers match the body of your truck on the custom, RST, and High Country trims. Helpful exterior features include the heated power outside mirrors, deep-tinted glass windows, and tailgate with EZ Lift assist.
Custom Trail Boss
The Silverado’s Custom Trail Boss trim comes with a Z71 suspension and a 2-inch factory lift, making it a great option for off-roading. The cargo bed LED lighting helps during nighttime work projects, while the 10-way power driver seat offers ample comfort on long rides.
LT
The Chevy Silverado 1500 LT has an enhanced Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that includes Google built-in for all of your entertainment needs. This Infotainment system measures 13.4 inches, compared to the 7-inch system found on lower trims. Other unique LT features include the 17-inch all-season blackwall tires, chrome bumpers, and heated front seating.
RST
The Silverado RST trim comes with 18-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels, all-season blackwall tires, and a complete Chevy Trailering Package. The RST’s interior includes a wrapped steering wheel with heat settings and steering-wheel-mounted controls, a 12.3-inch driver information center, and a 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support.
LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss has MT Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires, a black bowtie grille emblem, and LED headlamps. Inside the LT Trail Boss, you’ll find front and rear all-weather floor liners, heated front seating, and a manual tilt and telescoping steering column.
LTZ
The LTZ and High Country Silverado trims come with a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine that provides 355 HP at 5600 rpm and 383 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with electronic precision shift. Unique LTZ features include the power Up/Down tailgate and front bucket seats.
High Country
The High Country is the highest 1500 trim and comes with a power sliding rear window, Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, and a ChevyTec spray-on bedliner. Inside the High Country, there’s heated and ventilated front seating, a wireless charging pad, and a Bose Premium sound system.
