Professional & friendly

They explained they found the problem and it would take several hours to get into the module and repair. They called about an hour later and said they had it fixed, all it needed was a new Battery, evidently the battery from the factory was bad. I picked it up and drove it home and the initial problem is still there. It has not been fixed. They scheduled a time for me to come back so they can try again. I have to wait a week to get in.

Oil change

An oil change and tire rotation shouldn't take and hour and a half. Especially when you had a set appointment.

Service writer listened to what I had to say and acted accordingly. Services were completed in a timely fashion and were affordable.

Brent Bramwell immediately made me feel welcomed. Helped with pros and cons on what I was looking for my purchase. I'm happy with my vehicle decision. Once I moved to signing papers I do feel the warranty options part felt deceiving. Pkgs felt pushed. But once that was done and I was taken to my new car and Brent went over all the car features until I felt comfortable and had no further questions. I will definitely send friends and family to see Brent!

IT WAS GREAT

Had to take my 2020 Tahoe in for windshield replacement. The windshield had been cracked by staff when replacing windshield wipers during an earlier visit on 1/17/25. Tiffany said it would be replaced at no charge, just need to get it ordered and set up date to return. My husband asked that I make sure it will be a GM windshield, Tiffany assured it would be. 1st f/u appointment was canceled by Tiffany. Can’t remember exact reason, but needed to order another windshield and she would call me to set up return. Again asking that it will be a GM windshield, the same as what’s in it. Told it would be. Dropped off Tahoe 2/19 and received loaner vehicle. Windshield to be replaced on 2/20. Tiffany called 2/20 in the afternoon stating that the GM windshield she received wasn’t the same as what’s in it. It didn’t have the same tint. Apologized, said she’d reorder, would fill up my gas tank and have someone bring me my vehicle and pick up loaner. Told her I didn’t mind heading that way to return loaner. Then she called back saying she’s unable to find the same windshield. Gave me the option of installing the GM windshield and adding brow tint or ordering a Pilkington windshield with the same tint but wouldn’t have GM label. Had her speak with my husband, opted for GM windshield with brow tint. Tiffany called on 2/21 afternoon saying Tahoe is ready to be picked up. When we arrived to pick it up, Tiffany was out to lunch. Very disappointed in the appearance of final product. The brow tint looks like a cheap afterthought. Guess we made the wrong choice. Too bad it couldn’t be replaced with what was in it when we bought it new.

My service was good but my husband service took almost an hour. He arrived at 445pm for his 5pm appt. and it was 615pm before his service was completed and was still charged full price for the service.

Schedule appointment at 930 am on a Wednesday. They were unable to get to it until the following day. Were unable to duplicate issue was having. Was told l could come pick it up that evening. Drove to work and had the transmission fail on the way to work. Had to have it towed back the following morning. Ended up the transmission failed and had to be traded in on another vehicle.

The dealership is convenient in our town. I purchased a 2025 Equinox Jan 2025. I drove my vehicle on vacation to Florida and upon my return trip my car began to vibrate, rumble driving 35 or 40 miles per hour. I stopped at Florida Chevy dealer for help. They could not diagnosis the problem. I continued my trip back to Indiana. The rumble gradually decreased. I returned to Ed Martin Chevy and had to schedule a visit several days out. Once at the dealership, I was greeted nicely. After 2 hrs of waiting I asked for update. I was told there was a GM Bulletin about the issue my car experienced . After another 2 hrs the car was ready for me. I was very discouraged that a brand new vehicle had engine issues in the first weeks of owning it. I hope the fix that was made will hold up throughout the lifetime of my vehicle.

I had a scheduled appointment for only a tire rotation, oil and lube. We had a storm came in Anderson and it was bad enough that it ripped on of my wipers and I had a driver side wheel hub bearing go out. When I arrived at my appointment and was checking end the staff is very friendly and up front, I asked if I could have new blads put on and change my wheel bearing. They ask do give them a few mins to see what they could do. With in 5 mins or less they came around and said it would all take about 3hours. I said to go ahead, 1hr 45mins later car was completely done. Great service, hospitality, price is not to bad on labor or parts. Thank you to Ed Martin and staff

Service consultant communicated very well. Diagnostics were correct. Check engine light issue was fixed. But seems like oil was grossly overfilled during oil change. Not sure old oil was removed before new was added. Dark, dirty oil appeared in large amounts under the vehicle overnight after it was brought home from dealership. Checked levels and was still full. Going to drain and refill myself so that I know it’s done correctly.

Over the past few months I’ve bought 2 used vehicles and a new Silverado 1500 High Country, All three purchases were handled by Gavin DeLong, all three purchase went flawlessly.

Mike Rice was my service advisor and he was AWSOME on top and ahead of the ball on everything. The technician could not duplicate the problem so I need to come back in and take the tech for a ride. At that point they were able to find a TSB that matched my concern. After completing the TSB I picked the truck up. The problem is definitely better but still not like it should be. I will be calling Mike back to see what our next steps are at this point.

Not HAPPY, had an fuse and thermostat replaced that cost me almost 700.00 and my truck was running rough when I pick it up, then the engine light has come on still on and running rough. Can only wonder how much it will cost to have it looked at again. Every since I purchased this truck it been down more than it's been driven. It hurts 😥.

Brought my 2014 traverse in for recall on airbag. They got the airbag recall done quickly. But when we left the satellite radio stopped working I called and brought it back in for service and that they said that it’s nothing they did but it was working before it went in and now it’s not working at all. They told me I would have to pay a diagnostic fee to get it figured out what they did, but it’s not a coincidence that it’s stopped working after we went to the dealership

Tire rotation done without my consent. I did not ask for this nor was I informed they would be doing this. I would have said no as I’m getting new tires. Display on my dash was not reset to settings I had prior to appointment. Disappointing they would not consult the customer first.

I brought my car in for a check Engine light. I arrived at the dealership after a long drive tand things were going smoothly. I was told what was wrong with the car and then told that they would let me know how much it would be before any work would be done. After about 6 hours I finally got a call saying my car was ready. So I was thinking why didn’t anyone call me before the work was done? So I asked is the work covered. I was told yes. I get there to pick up my car and am told that I have to pay because they don’t know if reprogramming is covered under my warranty. And I’m like that’s not what I was told. Then I was told well you have to pay the deductible?I told them that when I bought the car from Ed Martin Toyota that I was told as long as I take it to an Ed Martin dealership that it would waive the deductible. Then I was told that they shouldn’t have told me that. So I called the man who sold me the car. So after waiting another hour and thirty minutes to hear back from the warranty people. Which still never replied. The service guy came in and said sir you’ve been waiting for a while. Let me get you your car and get you out of here. After leaving, I got a call back from the man who sold me my car and was informed again that the deductible was supposed to be to be waived. So I told him that they needed to inform ed Martin Cadillac of this. And was told that the regional manager is calling them now to inform them of this. Honestly not a great experience but still ended ok.

They worked really hard to make it so I could get this Truck to replace a 30 year old suburban that has server me very well that it was had to replace.

The job was to take one week and it took 3.5 weeks.

Wasn't too happy about bringing my Tahoe back a second time because my fuel gauge didn't work after replacing fuel pump and level sensor. Tiffany Gaddis in the Service department was wonderful handling the problem and arrange me a rental free of charge.

Outstanding service. Appointment was easy to make. I dropped my truck off late afternoon before appointment day. Technician was able to see it and perform service same day. Technician thought my truck would only need a heating coil flush instead of complete replacement. Tech was correct. Service manager notified me vehicle was ready when appointment day began. Excellent.

Dan really just went above and beyond for us and I cannot say enough good things about him. We definitely will continue coming back to Dan!

They are experienced and knowledgeable and they do incredible work. I have used them several times and they always return my vehicles looking like they just rolled off the showroom floor.

I have been doing business with Ed Martin for several years now and have purchased 4 vehicles. This was the only time I have been disappointed. Brought my car in to be repaired where a truck hit the rear of my suv. While there I had oil changed also. When I went to pick up car about 3 weeks later. It wouldn’t stay running and was jerking and lots of idiot lights were flashing. I don’t know what happened during the 3 weeks my car was there, but there was NO engine issue when I brought the car in. It was running just fine. So I was estimated about $650 more for engine repairs. And they tried to sell me 4 new tires while calling me to tell me what they thought was wrong and give me an estimate. So having a surprise engine repair and already had a person hit my car. I was not really a happy camper at this point. Then I go to pick up the car and the bill was a little over $1200. WHAT? I don’t usually say anything about your prices even though they are HIGH. Because I know supplies and cost of parts have increased since Covid. But this was out of line and I said this was not my estimate and I want to know specifically why this is double what I was estimated and if there was another problem found why in the world didn’t anyone call me??? Again I was very disappointed and not a happy camper.

They can’t seem to be able to fix my truck they have had it more than I have since it was bought

I received a $20 coupon from the dealership itself for a service (4 months after buying the vehicle) so I took my truck there to get an oil change. The wouldn't accept the $20 coupon because I wasn't getting a $1500 service. So either vehicles need $1500 service 4 months after buying a vehicle there or they're a buncha crooks!
