Chevrolet Super Cruise is hands-free driver assistance that lets you take your hands off the wheel on compatible roads. If you are comparing new Chevrolets in Central Indiana, you must still pay attention every moment you drive, with Super Cruise on or off. The feature requires an active Super Cruise plan or trial.

Super Cruise is available on certain Chevrolets and trims. How it is offered depends on the model year, trim and equipment. Start with the model-and-trim table below, then browse our new Chevrolet inventory or ask us about the Chevrolet you are considering.

What Super Cruise Does and What You Still Do

Super Cruise provides hands-free driver assistance on compatible roads, and these responsibilities stay with you.

On the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Super Cruise, connected by OnStar, manages speed and steering during hands-free driver assistance on compatible roads.

The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV has hands-on functionality that keeps you centered in your lane and adapts to the speed of the driver ahead while your hands stay on the wheel. Then, when the 2026 Silverado EV reaches a Super Cruise-enabled road, the steering-wheel light bar turns green and hands-free driving engages automatically. Its Google Maps integration can also guide you to the correct lane for your route on Super Cruise-capable roads.

Hands-Free Driving Around Central Indiana

Here in Central Indiana, how much Super Cruise helps on your regular drive depends on the roads you travel. In tax-year 2020 figures, about 14% of Madison County's recorded labor force commuted 20 to 45 miles each way on I-69 to jobs in Marion or Hamilton counties. If that is your drive, check that route on Chevrolet's Super Cruise website before you plan on hands-free miles.

Once you have considered your route, ask us about Super Cruise equipment on the Chevrolet you are considering.
